Rexhep Selimi, deputy of the former member of the KLA General Staff, has declared he has not received an invitation from the Special Court.
He said that until today he has not received such an invitation and has declared that no one should be afraid of this process.
No, I don't have an invitation from the Special Court, if one lined one will make it public”, Selimi declared on public television.
MP Selimi has deemed this process unfair, and voting in the Assembly for the establishment of this court has deemed it harmful.
Rexhep Selimi has also spoken of the Kosovo Army expected to be voted tomorrow, saying it is a big day and that LVV will be in the Assembly to vote the laws.
Selimi said there is no need for a spectacle about the formation of the army, as is the country's president. There's no need for this kind of race. What happens tomorrow is very good, very important, but not everything. The KSF should also be transformed into military force with constitutional changes”, Selimi said.
As far as international responses about the formation of the military are concerned, Selimi says there are three kinds of reactions, such as Serbia's. It has no problem except the Kosovo Army, the problem for Serbia is Kosovo, its independence, Kosovo's existence as state”, he said.
Next reaction, according to him, is that of NATO, which is not surprising because there are some states that do not recognise Kosovo's independence, such as Spain. And the U.S. reaction that is supporting us strongly. The Kosovo Army, according to him, is in partnership with the US.
As for dialogue with Serbia, Rexhep Selimi said these talks are unnecessary. “We are negotiating with the state we have fought against, the state we have declared independence to, and now we are talking about Kosovo's independence. These talks are unfair. Kosovo's constitution must be respected, the state must be protected by a state that is attacking”, he said.
According to him, Vuciqi and Milosevic's approach to Kosovo is the same. “We towards Serbia should not behave so kindly that we are thus braveing it”, Selimi said.
