Prosecutors in Turkey are investigating two well-known actors on allegations that they have offended President Recep Tayip Erdogan's government.
Prosecutors in Istanbul reported that actors Mattin Akpinar and Mujdat Gezen have been invited for interviews regarding comments they have made on a television show.
The two actors have been invited to pro-composer television, Halk TV. And during the actor's broadcast, Akpinar said Turkey should choose the democratic government or see how its <x0riders are dependent on their feet or poisoned basements”.
President Erdogan said during a proposal, but not to mention names that the “here are fake artists and will pay for this”.
Turkey's crackdown on perceived opponents has so far seized the 77th mark. Thousands of arrests over suspicions of a coup failed by a faction in the military in 2016.
