Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has reacted to the high price of oil in the Republic of Kosovo.
Government head through post in “Facebook” has called on the Kosovar Competition Authority, the Ministry of Trade and the Oil Association to take the necessary steps not to harm citizens at the oil price.
According to Haradinaj, the price of oil should be a digital market price, not deliberately damaging the budget of Kosovo families.
We recall that Kosovo citizens have very often complained about the high price of derivatives in Kosovo, requiring competent organs to take measures.
Below, find Haradinaj's full post:
The unjust financial damage of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo is unacceptable. This is happening from companies that import and sell oil in Kosovo.
The price of oil on the world and regional market is lower currently, until on the Kosovo market, operators have not reflected.
I call on the Kosovo Competition Authority, the Ministry of Commerce, the Oil Association and all other mechanisms to take the necessary steps to change this bad practice that harms our citizens.
The price of oil should be carbon market price! Understandably, free market functions independently, but that does not mean, in any form, deliberate damage to the Kosovo family budget!
