Edi Rama today has criticised them for this, saying that the only ones who have not gone to dialogue so far are the opposition, in this case Lulzim Basha, Periskopi reports.
THE only case I've ever had of dialogue has been with Lulzim Basha. Come sit down, let's talk. Not meet the requirements. The politicians' self-traction is here. Do it. Let's sit down. In Albania it is a problem that no one heard us. We were killed because the prime minister wouldn't listen to us. Now it's the opposite of this government, Rama said.
Rama has asked students where they have the problem and how they may refuse to meet with him to discuss their demands, saying that the prime minister is neither a store nor a warehouse.
What's the problem? Dialogue is not an act of marriage, but it is a means of communication where the peacock is heard. I don't say to stop, keep protesting. You do great. Because there are ears here. Believe your demands will be met. What's the problem? How can today in this century, in this Albania, be against the dialogue between a party and the Prime Minister's Government. What is this, where it happens? What am I, a store, a warehouse? Where are the requests written and then taken?
Rama has said that every category in Albania has the destiny that today everyone has to hear their concerns and demands. He also told the students that their demands will be met but that there is no room for rejection of dialogue in this case.
This is an inappropriate display. The problem would be if I didn't want to dialogue and tell you back to college, Rama added.
These are the full requests the students are protesting for a week now:

The rise from 10% to 50% of the total weight of student vote to elect candidates for dean/record and increase student representation in the academic Senate by 20%.
