The processing industry sector marks 8.75 percent growth

In the third quarter of 2018, compared to the second quarter of this year, there has been an increase in the processing industry (C) sector for 8.75% and the extraction industry (B) 0.71%, the Kosovo Statistics Agency (ASK) has announced.

The industry's short-term Statistics Survey reportedly had a drop in the water supply sector, management and waste treatment activities (E) for 11.24%, and the power supply sector, gas, steam and air conditioning (D) for 5.48%.

Meanwhile, compare TM3 2018 with the same quarter of the preceding year has been declining in the water supply sector, waste management and treatment activities (E) for 9.75%, the power supply sector, gas, steam and air conditioning (D) for 4.30%, the extraction industry (B) for 3.46% and the processing industry sector (C) with -1.17%.

Otherwise, the survey represents performance in industry: B ) Extractor, C ʹ Processor, D ] supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning, and water supply, management and waste treatment activities, in three-month periods, through which the development of the industry is understood.
