The country's prime minister, Ramush Haradinaj, has said that in March 2019 Kosovars will receive visa liberalisation.

Haradinaj has said Europeans have warned us not to set dates, but the prime minister has said the issue is in the interest of Kosovars.

“We have the possibility for liberalisation if the Council of Ministers meets in February and we are working in this direction. In fact, it is very important that they obtain visa liberalisation in February or March 2019. I know Europeans are saying you don't set a date. We are not setting dates, but we are interested in this matter”, Haradinaj said in an interview for “New age”

Prime Minister Haradinaj has also spoken of former KLA fighters' invitations to The Hague. He has said it is an inexplicable way to keep Kosovo in the isol.

The free movement would boost Kosovo's citizen's confidence in the EU. I have befriended, especially from the countries of Quanti, that there really is movement in this direction, because Kosovo has met the criteria ahead for this process. In this direction, he has said it is inexplicable to keep Kosovo in isolation”, Haradinaj has said.
