The CDU politician has won the chairmanship's position in a tight race in yesterday's elections, replacing current chairman Chancellor Angela Merkel.
German media have mentioned some of its features as politicians, with which in some cases there has been a different opinion than Merkel.
Kramp-Carrenbauer, who so far was the party's secretary general, has basically supported Merkel in her migration policy. But she has had several opposing positions on the matter, writes Indexline.
