Police kill 40 militants following Egypt bomb attack

Three Vietnamese tourists and an Egyptian guide were killed and another 10 people were injured when a bomb hit the bus they were on Friday, about four kilometers near the famous Pyramids of Egypt. Police reported killing 40 militants suspected of planning some [...] on Saturday morning.
Police have reported that Saturday morning they killed 40 militants suspected of planning several attacks on tourist sites.
The bomb attack is the first deadly attack on foreign tourists in Egypt in one year. Still not reported who carried out the attack.
Islamic extremists, including militants linked to the Islamic State, are active in Egypt and have had a goal for tourists over the past few years.
Tourists were going to a pyramid show, said Lan Le, one of the visitors.
Egypt's Interior Ministry said the attack was carried out by a bomb with an improvised device that was hidden near a wall.
