Representatives of several schools in the Ferizaj municipality are opposing the Ministry of Science and Technology's decision to stop the use of phones until it accurately envisions concrete measures to punish students.
Although this decision was issued about a month ago by August, in the schools of this municipality nothing has changed on this issue, even students are continuing to use classroom phones during the school process, Koha Ditore writes today.
School principals have said the August decision is very confusing and should be changed to present exactly the students' punitive measures.
Naser Osmani, director of the “high school Shaban Hashan” in Ferizaj, has said that August's decision to stop the use of students' phones during the learning process is not a matter oftensity, even as far as 1,500 students as there are a total of this school, none of them have been punished for such a move.
Even Abdullah Imer, director of the agribusiness high school “Zenel Hajdini” in Ferizaj, has said the August decision is not being implemented due to the non-definition of punitive measures.
Kenan Gashi, director at the NGO “AVONET” has suggested Ferizaj's municipality make a new regulation through which toʹte some punitive measures for telephone users.
On the other hand, Africa Labyan, director of education in Ferizaj's municipality, has said that the August decision is quite shot, but it will hardly be implemented because in schools there are no adequate conditions for saving mobile phones.
