Regarding his ban, the Serbian Liberal Party has reacted, which says Petrovic was banned by the Serbian BIA.

“An interior ministry official, after giving the document, told Petrovic that he must expect members of the Security Agency to arrive.

After more than two hours of waiting and reaching BIA members, he was told he should wait until an answer from Belgrade for the reasons for his stop, says the Serbian Liberal Party.

Also explained is Petrovic, after more than four hours of waiting, was allowed to continue his trip without being given any reason why he had stopped at this border point.

The Petrovic Party has called for clarification from Belgrade, the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs and BIA for the reason for Petrovic's ban.

This party reports Petrovic traveling for family purposes.
