Kosovo's Appeals Court has rejected the defence attorney's complaint as unfounded against the appointment of a month-long detention measure for the E.J. defendant.
According to the media statement, Appeals has enabled the Constitutional Court Act in Pristina, dated 13,12.2018, under which the measure is estimated from 11.12.2018 and will last until 11,01.2019.
E.J. is suspected of three criminal acts; “Falsification of the document” by Article 398, “False prescription” from Article 417 and “Spy” from Article 131.
The Court of Appeals finds that the first degree court has provided sufficient reasons on the legal basis for which it has appointed the measure of detention against the person in question, confirming the provisions of Article 187 of the Republic of Kosovo Criminal Procedure Code.
