Public universities in Kosovo face great difficulties in realising their work.

Having been established as a promise of election campaigns without budget and conditions, these universities are easily influenced by politics that has tried to achieve its goals by interfering in various ways in their work.

That conclusion has come up in research carried out by the Organisation for Democracy, Anti-Corruption and Dignience, COHU! and the Kosovar Centre for Investigative Journal, where six new Kosovo public universities have been investigated.

Faithful Boletini, one of the report's authors, has said these universities were founded without a preliminary analysis.

The party militants have been accommodated, there are persons with basic studies and very low averages. 4 out of university reactors come from the PDK. We have identified 35 people who hold leadership positions in these universities and who are related to politics”, he said.

E Besa Kalaya, said that research focused on lack of staff at these universities.

The lack of staff is mentioned, people with basic studies and very low averages have worked. The investigation also shows about political interference”, she said.
