PDK insists: Dialogue leader Thaci

The PDK is considering that the opposition resolution for dialogue is on the verge of approval. However, this party is not willing to affect the president's role in the process. P NISMA's DS is awaiting clarification of Kadri Wessel's Party position.

PDK chief of deputies Memli Krasniqi is considering the opposition resolution on the verge of approval.

But I haven't explained why this document was voted in Parliament. He said that without PDK support, this moment would come.

And the other MP of The PDK, Elmi Recica, has demanded that the president's role not be touched in the upcoming Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.

PSD and NISMA for Kosovo have asked the PDK to clarify the position why it is supporting the initiative to adopt the resolution and the law on dialogue.

The PSD had proposed the document, which stripped President Hashim Thaci of all competencies in the dialogue.

It was before the dialogue was led by Fatmir Limaj and Shpend Ahmeti as co-chairman.

The Democratic League of Kosovo has rejected the PSD) initiative for resolution and unity in the dialogue. It has called for new elections and formation of the government issued by elections.

The opposition has come up with Vetevendosje, which has said that the PSD is becoming a PDK crutch and extension of the government's mandate.

Currently, final dialogue with Serbia has begun between President Hashim Thaci and his counterpart, Aleksandar Vucic.

The Kosovo government has proposed a dialogue team with Fatmir Lemaj, who has refused to start working without even having the opposition involved.

Kosovo and Serbian officials have said this is the final phase of dialogue in which there will be a final agreement.

So far, President Thaci has said there will be correction and change of borders, recognition of Kosovo and membership in the UN. He has even said Kosovo will join the Presevo Valley.

The Serbian side has said that within the dialogue they will formalise the capture of Kosovo's North.

The situation has complicated even more after the Kosovo Government's decision to impose a 100 per cent tax on Serbian products. After that, Serbia has said there will be no dialogue until that move is in effect.

Meanwhile, in the four northern municipalities, the mayors of the municipalities have resigned, creating a new situation in which elections based on Law and Constitution are expected to be announced, reports Express.
