US President Donald Trump reported on Twitter today that Deputy Defence Minister “very talented”, as he called Patrick Chanhan ʹ will be the Pentagon's chief since January 2019, instead of Minister Jim Mattis, who resigned after Trump's decision to withdraw American troops from Syria.

“It is my pleasure to announce that Deputy Defence Minister Patrick Chanahan will serve as defence minister on January 1st, 2019. Patrick has a long list of achievements during the service as deputy defence minister and previously in the organisation. It will be excellent,” said Trump on Twitter.

Jim Mattis, otherwise resigned a few days ago about what he said Trump's decisions about withdrawing American troops from Syria.

Mattis is the person who gave great impetus and support to the establishment of the Kosovo Army. /Periscopi
