Pacolli made Kosovo diplomacy five times

The Vetevendosje movement held the media conference on failed promises and scandals that are stopped by the foreign policy of the Republic of Kosovo. The MP and Victory Movement Chairmanship member Pacolli spoke at the conference.

“Viti 2018 is the year of irresponsible foreign policy promises with chaotic and dangerous tools for their realisation and, as a result, with desperate results”, is said at the conference.

This year, the eight-year principled and unconditional dialogue with Serbia, instead of recognition by Serbia promised by our government, has arrived in question of putting Kosovo's citizenship in question with the idea of “restructuring of the borders” of President Thaci. President Thaci has returned the country to the time before declaring independence. It has weakened international subjectivity and empowered Serbia. It has thus created wider lobby against Kosovo citizenship”, Victory MP Pacolli said.

“under these conditions, Serbia has intensified the campaign against Kosovo to states that have not yet recognised us. Meanwhile, our foreign policy institutions give controversial and unconventional statements on the withdrawal of recognitions from countries that have previously recognised us, confirming more Serbia's antifuscage than the Kosovo campaign. Similarly, the country's president has fired Serbia's anti-Fun Village gas with his meetings with Medvedev and Putin, Kosovo's main opponents of Independence. Germany cannot and should not be replaced, and strategic partnership with Russia”, she said.

Furthermore, Pacolli said, during this year our diplomacy has achieved no membership in any key international organisation, nor has the Council of Europe membership application, which the government has said is ready since April. While in the case of INTERPOL, not only did they not secure membership, they also took the face of the country's citizenship with a lack of dignity and integrity in their presentation.

“About the level of diplomacy, MP Pacolli listed its problems by saying, “Foreign service and the functioning of diplomatic and consular representatives have no improvements. Further degradation is evidenced by already retired diplomats. They have taken arbitrary decisions, for party and individual interests that conflict with legislation in force from the president to the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The Kosovo Diplomatic Service Law stipulates that quotas for diplomatic representatives are 50% political and 50% appointed by office in the Foreign Service, or as career ambassadors are known. In Kosovo this quota has been exceeded, making nearly 80% of diplomatic representatives in foreign countries to be named political”, Pacolli said.

She also said the government had been reluctant to promise to obtain candidate status for EU membership by the end of 2018. This process is directly related to the implementation of the SAA's Municipal Plan and key reforms within the Aegean for European Reform. MP Pacolli cited the level of progress for these reforms, the official “informs show that only 13% of priorities in the National Plan for implementation of the SAA have been met, while only four priorities of the 22 European Agency for Reform priorities have been fully fulfilled”.

This government failed even with the liberalisation of visas, repeatedly promised since 2009.
