US President Donald Trump, through a letter sent to his Kosovo counterpart Hashim Thaci, has demanded that political leaders instead be in a single voice regarding the Kosovo dialogue process Serbia. But the two largest opposition parties -- the LDK and LVV -- are not expected to join this process.
Despite US President Donald Trump has demanded that political leaders in Kosovo be in a single voice regarding the Kosovo dialogue process Serbia, the two opposition parties -- LVV's LDK -- are not expected to join this process. While LDK representatives have considered that the country must go to early elections, LVV representatives have said that before continuing with the final phase of the dialogue initially should become an assessment of the whole process, from the start so far, Zeri writes.
On the other hand, as he spoke about the letter received by US President Donald Trump, Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has voiced optimism that Kosovo's leadership will reflect on the question of dialogue. According to him, Trump's letter proves that the United States of America has unique support for Kosovo. Meanwhile, representatives of the two opposition parties that are refusing to become part of the dialogue have said that there is nowhere required in the American president's letter for President Hashim Thaci to lead the negotiation process with Serbia.
