Alarming figures have shown air pollution level meter in Pristina at the beginning of the first week of December. Kosovo's capital, Pristina and several other cities, such as Obilqi, Mitrovica, Gjilani, Drenas and Peja, have long faced this problem, but the emergency alert has been lit separately in the last three years, since air pollution rate has received more attention.
Last year, in Pristina, with the goal of improving air quality for two days, the flow of cars in the central area had been banned, allowing only the movement of urban buses and taxis.
