French President Emmanuel Macron has postponed his planned visit to Belgrade due to “domestic problems, Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq said Monday, referring to violent protests facing Paris last week.
We are preparing for President Macro's visit. Unfortunately, as a consequence of the situation and the problems it is facing, President Macron has sought to postpone his visit to our country for several weeks”, Vuciqi said during a news conference, KTV reported.
He had warned a meeting with Serbian President Vuciq for Wednesday evening, and Thursday to honour the cemetery for soldiers fallen during World War I before returning to Paris.
