After the formation of the Kosovo Army, the European Union has reacted.
Maja Kocijancic, spokeswoman for EU High Representative Federica Moghrini, has told KALLXO.com that the EU will maintain the same position as the EU will NATO has faced this army.
Kosovo's “Convention today adopted a legislation on the Kosovo Security Force. Like NATO, the European Union continues to share the position that KSF's mandate should be changed only through a comprehensive and gradual process in line with the Kosovo Constitution. The European Union expects Kosovo to continue to maintain its obligations under the first agreement concluded in Brussels in April 2013 and its security arrangements”, Kocijancic has said.
Kosovo after 10 years of independence has formed its own army. This decision has been made today in the Kosovo Assembly with unanimous votes on the part of MPs.
The earlier reaction has been on the part of NATO, who expressed regret at the formation of the Kosovo Army.
