After 11 days of being trapped in the St. Vincenson summit camp, they have already returned to their homeland, where they were hosted by family and society.
The news of Mrika and Ariani's return has revealed through Facebook the Alpine Society “Genavica” in Pec, part of which are father and daughter.
The chairman of this association, Raif Gjikoli, said that Father and daughter from Peja are safe and happy to be back.
Now they've just arrived at the airport, they're healthy and they're happy that they're back”, Gjicholi said.
Mrika, 17, and her father, Arianni, are the first two Albanians in the world to have climbed Antarctica's highest peak, with fog and bad weather being blocked in a tent and temperatures up to -40 degrees Celsius.
