The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has dismissed media reports, which reportedly accepted official documents from the Solomon Islands for attracting recognition of Kosovo's independence.
This minister has reconfirmed that he has not accepted any official documents from the state in question, Klan Kosova reports.
In the media release communiqué, the MPJ says it does not comment on unverified documents that could circulate for propaganda purposes or suspicious agendas aimed at creating false news.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs re-remembers that the Solomon Islands have recognised Kosovo as an independent and sovereign state in 2014, while a year later diplomatic relations have been established, this highest level of relations between the two states”.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stresses that Kosovo representatives have consistently kept in touch and held bilateral high-level meetings with representatives of this state, where mutual pledges have been voiced for deepening these relations between the two peoples and the two countries”.
