It happens so often to hear interesting events, but we don't believe that you've heard so far. This is the unusual event of a mouse in the ATM, which ate about 20,000 euros.
As reported by the Hindu Times, the event occurred in the town of Tinsukia, northern India. In a world where people are <x0urreturated” for money, a mouse has managed to avoid security, access an ATM device and consume $17,000.
According to Reuters, the mouse ate about 12,000 rupees, leaving the bankomat free. Money loss left customers trapped, and equipment technicians surprised, the newspaper Express broadcast.
Banomat had been subject to a number of technical complaints in the past, due to money not available for more than 12 days. Also, in this small Indian city, despite government efforts to digitise money and transactions, money still plays an important role in the economy.
After the ATM was opened, people found the cash banknotes broke. A video published on Twitter shows the status in which the ATM was found after it opened.
