Protests erupted against fuel taxes, aimed at reducing pollution in the country from the use of electric vehicles.
At the afternoon conference, Macro is expected to make more concessions.
On Monday morning, as Macro met with trade unions and business leaders, students were also thrown into protest.
Learning has been interrupted in 120 schools across the country, including 40 schools completely blocked by students, a spokeswoman for the Ministry of Education said.
Last week the French government withdrew from rising fuel tax, but vests did not stop violent protests. Economic damage, according to Interior Minister Bruno Le Mer, is catastrophic and will have a long-term negative impact on budget and tourism.
