Neither Macedonia nor Kosovo established the promise of international investigation in the case of Kwanova

The investigation to understand the armed group's motives was promised by DUI leader Ali Ahmeti a few days after the armed clash.

However, experts estimate that the two countries, as a result of high-level crime presence in investigative bodies, do not have sufficient power and will for international investigation into the Trimia case.

This implies that these states are not interested in co-operating in terms of the rule of law, but rather are part of organised crime.
