Neither Macedonia nor Kosovo established the promise of international investigation in the case of Kwanova

Nearly four years of fighting on May 9th and May 10, 2015, institutions in Macedonia have forgotten the true judicial epilogue in this case. The investigation to understand the armed group's motives was promised by DUI leader Ali Ahmeti a few days after the armed clash.
This would require a very strong investigation, but that would also require the commitment of international investigative because it is not as simple to see up to whose tissues they were, what their purpose was, and what they wanted to accomplish, said Ali Ahmeti, the DUI chairman.
Calling to the Reform Government, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev also a few months after receiving the mandate had promised an international investigation into the Quarter of Trims.
We don't want to have dilemmas on unclear issues that are in the interest of citizens. We believe that along with the international community, we will find the possibility of opening an international investigation into this case”, Zaev claimed, reports Alsat-M.
Similarly, he had promised the first of the police, Oliver Spasovski.
“We as Government have been charged with making additional and international investigations in order for opinion to understand the truth about this case”, stated Oliver Spasovski, interior minister.
Similar promises were made in Kosovo. Kumanovo was also the topic of talking at the first prime ministerial summit between Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj.
However, experts estimate that the two countries, as a result of high-level crime presence in investigative bodies, do not have sufficient power and will for international investigation into the Trimia case.
“Balkan countries' governments over 80 percent are involved in organised crime based on FBI and CIA data. This implies that these states are not interested in co-operating in terms of the rule of law, but rather are part of organised crime. Here lies the blame for Kosovo, which had also promised a pre-investigative and international investigative procedure”, said the Union of Peaceani, security expert.
The international investigation into the Trimese Peace case was also requested by the defendants' families in the case in front of the building, where the joint meeting of Kosovo governments and Albania was held a few weeks ago. For the same reason, family members have protested several times in various cities aimed at initiating the international investigation.
In the case of the Trima Quarter, 746 years of imprisonment were conducted for 33 members of the Kumanovo Group, 7 of them in prison for life. The events of May 9 and 10, 2015, at the Kumanovo Quarter, were killed by 10 members of the armed group and 8 members of the police.
