Lul Berisha faced court with the person who tried to kill him

Lulzim Berisha has faced trial today with the person who years ago tried to kill him. Accompanied by defence lawyer Detar Hysi, Lulzim Berisha appeared in the courtroom in the process of 35-year-old Ahmet Ajeti (from Kosovo) accused of organising the assassination against him. At this session Berisha has refused to testify with the claim it comes as being damaged in the process.

Ahmet Ajeti is accused of making an assassination attempt for Lulzim Berisha in 2005. Ajjet has been sentenced in absentia to 20 years in prison for attempted murder and extradited from Kosovo's Lipjan to Albania 4 months ago. After the extradition, Ajjeti called for reopening the case and reviewing the file in his presence.

Judicial proceedings have failed several times in the Randa Crimes due to Lulzim Berisha's failure to appear.

Ajeti is not an unknown name for Albanian justice, as he has been part of the Adriatic Council Andrew Dokles band. It is allegedly paid 80 thousand euros in 2005 to kill Lulzim Berisha.
