The negotiating team for talks with Serbia on January 8th will go to Brussels, where it will be announced for further steps in the dialogue process.
The deputy prime minister, at once chairman of the negotiating team, Fatmir Limaj, said Kosovo is committed to reaching the final agreement with Serbia, which will enable mutual recognition.
“What the Kosovo delegation will act is the mandate that parliament has given parliament based on the resolution and the platform will be based on the law itself for the state delegation, so that is our obligation. We cannot go outside the mandate Kosovo parliament has given us”, Limaj told Rtv21.
But what will be the mandate of this team?
The state delegation's “mandate is clear with the resolution adopted in parliament. The main commitments will be to unify the position of the Republic of Kosovo against Serbia. It is very important that Kosovo speak in a voice”, Limaj said.
