Kosovo Security Force [ The KSF will have a whole other mission starting today after voting the draft laws on forming the Army in the Assembly.
It was mandated in territorial defence and in response to crisis situations in Kosovo. Its main tasks were operas in areas of Research and Salvation, Demonting and assembly of explosives, fighting fire and removing toxic materials.
It was equipped with light weapons that will change after today. Commander is Lieutenant General Beftman Rama.
The KSF last year received 95m euros in funds from the Kosovo government, accounting for 0.89% of GDP.
There were four thousand active personnel adding 2,000 backups here.
It has multiethnic character and has members of the 10 communities. /Periscopi
