Former KSF Commander Kadri Kastrati during an interview for “Zen” has declared that despite current NATO objections in the future he will support the Kosovo Army. He says Kosovo after a week will have the army after the vote, which will happen in the Assembly.
The process of forming the Kosovo Army has no turning back, as it is designed in co-ordination with international friends and despite current NATO objections, this again will remain a supporter of the military.
So has former Kosovo Security Force Commander (FSK) Kadri Kastrati stressed, adding that Kosovo's relations with NATO will be strengthened even further after December 14th 2018, when it will be voted in the Assembly to transform KSF into the military.
Kosovo has made every capacity movement in co-ordination with partner states, with the US, with Germany, Italy and France, and with many other states that have NATO's highest standards. That's why I think that NATO will remain supportive of this task force”, it has highlighted among other things Kastrati in the “Zerin” interview.
According to him, Kosovo is an independent and sovereign state, recognised by over 100 states and has the right to have its own army, which will be formed not only for its own interests, but also for NATO's, and the region because it will be a defence force.
