KFOR still stands at Ibër Bridge in Mitrovica

The harsh statements coming from Belgrade about the Kosovo Government's initiative of army creation had raised doubts that the situation in the north could strain. However, a day after the establishment of the Kosovo Army, the situation in the north of the city of Mitrovica is calm.
As reports the news agency goneug, KFOR forces, which are less numerous than the day of December 14th, continue to remain in the Ibër Bridge.
At the entrance of Ibër Bridge and parts of the city are standing by Austrian KFOR, while three armoured vehicles are stationed near Bridge.
There are also several members of the Kosovo Police.
Several KFOR vehicles are also in the entrance to the Bridge from the northern part of the town of Mitrovica.
The southern part of the town of Mitrovica continues to be decorated with American flags, while in the northern part of the city through buildings continue to stand Serbia's flags.
