General Kastratit shows who are the greatest supporters of KSF

Former KSF Commander Kadri Kastrati has told of the equipment he currently has and is expected to have the KSF.

He said the KSF is currently equipped with light weapons, writes the paper.net.

“The KSF is currently equipped with light weapons. He's got belt weapons and long weapons”

However, he has said that in the future the KSF is expected to be armed according to NATO standards.

In the future, the KSF, which will be with military mission, will be equipped with weapons and other equipment that will be standardised by NATO. That's because we're going to be in a situation where we're going to work with different states. This obliges NATO states to have more or less the same arms standard [with Kosovo]”, Kastrati said.

The former commander has said the US is the biggest supporter of equipment and weapons, but great help has also been given to Germany and Turkey.
