Parliamentary Group 6+ MP Duda Balje, has declared that Kosovo is ready to form its army.
It during today's session of the Kosovo Assembly has even commented on NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg's statement, which warned that forming the military at this time is the wrong step and that Kosovo will face serious consequences.
I think the state is ready to form an army and we've completely passed the procedure, now it's just voting within the session. I am almost sure that each state and NATO can then think of it, it is bad because NATO has come out with this statement, but I think that we as a state have decided and I think that we should vote on it. Yeah, it's bad, because it's a big barrier, but I think we need to find a solution to that, and I'm pretty sure we'll vote for the army”, she said.
While, in terms of the 2019 budget vote, she said they have made a plan for minorities and that they have talked with Finance Minister Bedri Hamza, so parliamentary group 6+ will vote on the budget for next year.
