The Party of Kosovo Serbs, led by Alexander Jablanovijqi, has rejected the recent Serbian List action, which has been blocked in the Kosovo Assembly by rejecting the 100% tax on goods from Serbia.
In an official statement by the Kosovo Serb Party of Serbia, the Serbian List's request for the removal of the 100% tax on Serbian products is being made only to draw public attention from the arrest of suspects in the murder of Oliver Ivanovis.
This party strongly condemns the Serbian List's move, as it described it as the advertising campaign of this party and its mentors in Pristina and Belgrade.
“We ask the Serbian List, not to hide behind the Serbian people and force people not to organise protests, but to force coalition partner Haradinaj to withdraw the decision to implement the 100%x1> tax.
Jablanovic's party has also asked Serb List deputies to respect their decisions and leave Kosovo institutions.
“Let's at least show location in their political activity, to regain at least a little dignity for the sake of this long operation”.
The Serbian list has been stuck in Kosovo's Assembly spaces by opposing the 100% tax, and have warned they will stay until they meet European Commissioner Johannes Hahn. The latter has not provided an answer to the meeting request.
