Ismaili Bridge: Corruption has seriously damaged health

Health Minister Uran Ismaili has said corruption has seriously damaged the Kosovo health sector.

According to him, the purchase of drugs this year has saved 6m euros.

“Corruption has seriously damaged the health sector and damaged citizens' trust. Drug purchase deteriorated over the years. Coming to the warrant, I've seen a lot of problems. All illegal contracts have been terminated. This policy and action have succeeded. Today the Health Ministry has bought 6m euros cheaper medicines than last year. 6m euros that have enabled equipment to be used”, Ismajli said at an extraordinary media conference.

He said public money was misused in 2016-17.
