But their dance and sound are often being hampered at borders. Because even for the National Song and Dance Ansabrel “Shota”, visa non-liberalisation is presenting isolation.
The director of this amendment, Shefqet Jocaj, in an interview for KosovoPress says “Shota” is getting cold even in countries that have not recognised Kosovo, but according to him, the Kosovo state is not offering them the necessary support.
Kosovo's “State should invest more in what is called cultural diplomacy, which is sometimes much more important, for example, the asembli '%staʹ to represent culture there than the entire Kosovo parliament goes to meetings. It's far more important because through art, through sports, the best ambassadors come out, especially in small countries that are powerless... I think we have two big problems in this direction, for visas, and the biggest trouble is for budget”, says Jocaj.
Gjacaj says the process of re-election directors and lack of budget became a cause for procrastinating certain activities, which, however, succeeded.
For asamblin “Shot” continues to be a problem with the lack of a budget code that would be managed by the amendment itself.
Meanwhile, the regulation for promotion of cultural workers, Jocaj, calls it bad and unimproved.
“As far as the regulation for the promotion of cultural and cultural heritage workers, which has resulted in salary raising, I consider it to be bad regulation that has not improved at all as regulations. Salaries have been raised on the basis of what they have been, yet there has not been any harmonisation or classification in certain artistic categories, and as a result there is also dissatisfaction”, Jocaj is declared.

Compared to challenges, “ansabli Shot” does not lack successes. Fines show gratitude prices have already become routine for them, and says they do not happen to return from any festival without reward.
Even this year, they participated in several festivals, and recently, in “Vistos Fest 2018<18x1>, in Bulgaria, ansambli “Shot” triumphed at four main awards.
“Shota has gone to Vitosha, to Sofia and there has prevailed, practically by five categories has prevailed with four of them, such as the best Ansemble, Best Music, Best Clothing and Best Dancer of the Festival, who was declared our dancer, Valentina Hazirix1>, Djocaj relates.
Meanwhile, the 20th anniversary of the KLA epic and 550th anniversary of Skenderbe's death were among the events that marked 2018. Even for “attribute Shota”, these two events were inspired by two koreodramas, which despite the challenges, managed to appear before the public.
And it's about the coreodrama in March, which has really been a tribute to the Jashar family children, but also to the KLA's epipea. Then, in May, coreodrama preparations have begun for our national hero Gjergj Kastrioto é Scnderbeu, who was supposed to end in June, but because of some problems, the implementation time has been prolonged and the main job has been carried in September, because the month is the month of collective rest. And we've been able to make it happen on September 26th.
For the coming year, ansemli “Shot” is preparing separate projects. Jocaj has indicated for Kosovo that they are preparing a special programme for 2019, marking the 20th anniversary of Kosovo's liberation.
Also, 2019 is expected to be like when “Shot” will also create its own archive, which Jocaj says has received promise of support from the Ministry of Culture.
Besides, in the near future, “Shota” also plans the establishment of the Youth Academy, through which the target is also designed to prepare future asambli artists “Shot”.
