An international award won, but Vuciq failed to get Kosovo's cause

Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq this year has selected international award winner “Golden Lion for Peace 2018<18x1>

But, instead of Vucic, the award went to take Serbia's Ambassador Goran Aleksic to the ceremony, Serbian media write, broadcast Indexline.

The commission for sharing this award estimated that the Serbian president deserves this award as he has made strong efforts to promote peace in the region.

However, for Vuciq right now it seems that the welfare of Serbs living in Kosovo is more important than the price in question.

He has said that because of the situation created in Kosovo after the 100% tax is imposed, he has not gone to Venice.

And to clarify this, he through the ambassador sent a letter to Venice saying that this award belongs to all those in Serbia who have worked for peace.
