Incomes from Kosovo diaspora increase

By September of this year, remittances have reached the value of 587m euros, which compared to the same period last year, have seen an increase of 6.1 percent.
The accepted remittances in Kosovo, which simultaneously present the largest category in terms of the secondary income account, according to Kosovo Central Bank data, mostly come from Germany followed by Switzerland, the US, Italy, Austria, France and other states.
These tools over the years have had an important role in the country's economy, boosting economic growth and providing additional income for smaller families.
Lorik Pustina, leader of the Communications Division at the Ministry of Diaspora, speaking of Radio Free Europe, says the diaspora support for Kosovo continues to be great.
It shows that there are a range of projects being intended to be realised between the diaspora and Kosovo institutions.
