This year Kosovo citizens will remember as the year when the European Union failed to keep its promise of free movement of Kosovo citizens in the Schengen area. Kosovo has fulfilled all obligations derived from the guide for visa liberalisation, which we were told is the technical process, which in the end was said to have to do with political decision. Even this current meeting of the Stabilisation and Association Council between Kosovo and the European Union could be extraordinary if there was a positive decision. I want to stress the frustration of the Government and the citizens of Kosovo for not fulfilling this ever-run promise, leaving Kosovo the only isolated state in the region”, Hoxhaj has said at the KSA meeting under way in Brussels.
