The prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, hosted representatives of the Kosovo Afarism Oada, led by the board's chairman, Skender Krasniqi, with whom he talked about economic development, strengthening the partnership between institutions, Odas and the private sector in general.
Prime Minister Haradinaj said the Kosovo government has taken important steps to be alongside local producers, stressing the commitment to continue working on overall reforms in the functioning of sustainable economic development, private sector strengthening and creating a favourable business climate.
During the meeting, the Kosovo government's 100 per cent tax on products imported from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina has also been discussed, which Prime Minister Haradinaj said is the response to Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina's continued structural actions towards Kosovo's subjectivity and sovereignty.
Representatives of the Kosovo Afarism Oda have unveiled to Prime Minister Haradinaj a list of their demands to the country's Government, which Prime Minister Haradinaj pledged to commit to their address.
Representatives of the Kosovo Afarism Oda also thanked Prime Minister Haradinaj for supporting the private sector development and local producers through tax advantages, expressing support for the 100 per cent tax on products from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, which, according to them, would empower local businesses and producers.
