Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has appeared before reporters from Brussels, declaring the tense meeting held today where the EU chief Frederica Moghrini was present.
Haradinaj has said that the meeting for the base had Kosovo's European agenda and bilateral relations with the EU, as well as at the meeting has been talked about visa liberalisation, the paper reports.
The prime minister has asked the EU to liberalise visas for Kosovars, since it is unfair for Kosovars to live in CHAttoï after having met all conditions for visas.
The topic of discussion that was also the main one at the meeting was the establishment of a 100 per cent tax from Kosovo, where Haradinaj has said that the Kosovo government is interested in a comprehensive agreement on this, the paper reports.
Haradinaj has reminded the EU and Moghrin that the tax on Serbia could be lifted only if agreement is made meaning recognition of Kosovo's independence from Serbia, seating in the UN and other international mechanisms.
“The issue of the fee cannot be resolved in part, we must choose it in an agreement meaning recognition, seating at the UN and international mechanisms for Kosovo”, Haradinaj said.
