“You make this decision with the market you're supporting, motivating...”, that was Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's reasoning about the decision he made on Tuesday that special prosecutors were separated according to him is because of the work they do in fighting corruption.
At the Government's decision, special prosecutorial prosecutors will receive additional 400 euros.
With this additional salary of special prosecutors amounting to 29,000 euros.
However, this decision has been described as illegal by the Kosovo Institute for Justice.
Furthermore, Miftaraj has said that with additions to prosecutors the Government is buying their silence.
Meanwhile, Special Prosecutor Silas Hoxha said the additions special prosecutors have received since the establishment of this prosecutor.
The extensions according to Hoxha are due to the complexity of their work.
The decision on additions of the Special Prosecutor's Prosecutors came after a warning the prime minister made Monday.
