European Union Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn has posted two statements on his social Twitter network, shortly after the conference on media held in Pristina.
He has ordered the Kosovo-based tax on goods of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina to be lifted.
The import taxes imposed by Kosovo are serious issues. They can't stay! I'm ready to ease a solution. I have proposed to my conversationators to focus on trade-related issues at a special forum to find concrete and quick solutions”, Hahn wrote on Twitter.

He also speaks of the importance of free trade in the Western Balkans, according to the Regional Economic Zone, located at the Triesta Summit in July 2017.
“Interregional Trade #Regional EconomicArea (#REA) is important. The dynamic economic development of the region and at the same time better preparation for the EU market in the country. I'm willing to discuss with dialogueors about my proposal. I'm ready to engage”, wrote Hahn after the media conference in Pristina.

Today during the day he has also met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, in Belgrade. Currently Hahn is holding a meeting with Kosovo President Hashim Thaci.
