Germany estimates it's an inappropriate time for the Army: Danger Foregrounds

Chancellor Angela Merkel's government supports the right of the Republic of Kosovo to have the Army, however, say that at the moment, the initiative for transforming the Kosovo Security Force into the Kosovo Army poses a risk of hardening tensions with Serbia and questions the whole process for normalising reports with Serbia being mediated by the European Union.

Germany recognises Kosovo as a sovereign state. Therefore, we do not question Kosovo's sovereign right to establish regular armed forces.
