France disappointment: Kosovo Army not done at the right time, 100% tax lifted

France's representative to the UN Security Council, Francois Delattre, has said the vote for the Kosovo Army has come at an inappropriate time, and has sought to lift the 100 per cent tax on Serbian products.

Delattre has said and France supports the way for the formation of the Kosovo Army, but according to them the formation of the military has come at a wrong time.

“France supports the path of forming the Kosovo Army, but it has come at an inappropriate time”, Delattre said.

Delattre has also demanded that the two states reduce tensions and guard against biased statements that undermine normalisation of relations between the two countries.

Delattre has asked Kosovo to lift the 100 per cent tax on goods from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
