EU heads of state and government on the first day of the summit in Brussels, at the request of Cyprus, will examine the blockade of dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Serbian media report.
According to them at the blockade came after the 100 per cent tax was imposed by Kosovo for goods imported from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, news broadcasts.
From Brussels come attitudes that such measures “recommend the situation, bring no solution to the problem in Kosovo, and that they are contrary to obligations from the CEFTA agreement”. “This measure must withdraw”, Serbian media sources from the EU say.
Other topics of the summit's two-day discussion are expected to be the situation after elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the change of agreement between Athens and Skopje over the name.
The leaders of EU diplomacy will discuss these topics at the ministerial meeting.
The important topic will also be the Western Balkans.
