Turkey's embassy in Kosovo has been declared in connection with laws adopted by the Kosovo Assembly on December 14th 2018 for transforming KSF into Army.
“Turkey, as a Balkan country and a NATO member contributing to KFOR and KSF, taking into consideration the laws adopted by the Kosovo Parliament on December 14th for transforming the KSF into the military as a sovereign right, also considers statements by Kosovo authorities appropriate that the transformation process, which is expected to last years, will be democraticly and inclusive to all Kosovo communities within the constitutional framework, in co-ordination with NATO, and in a way that will preserve peace and stability in the region, the Turkish Embassy said in Kosovo.
Turkey, in line with the importance of peace and stability in the region, is said to support continuing dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade
