Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has travelled for a one-day visit to Great Britain.
Thaci in London today has met with Sir Alan Duncan, Minister for Europe and America in the British government, announces an announcement from the Presidency.
The head of state has notified the British minister of efforts to build lasting peace in Kosovo and the region.
Kosovo has made major steps in reform and is interested in continuing with these steps in the future, Thaci has said.
We are also working on a peaceful, comprehensive and final agreement with Serbia”, he has added.
On the other hand, Duncan has said that Great Britain supports the Euro-Atlantic perspective of Kosovo and the region, the communique emphasises.
“Support efforts to build lasting peace and stability throughout the Southeast European region”, Duncan said.
Thaci at the meeting with Minister Duncan has stressed that Kosovo wants to become a contributor to peace in the region and beyond, as well as at the service of this are efforts for an agreement with Serbia, which will bring mutual recognition and closure of the conflict chapter, the announcement suggests.
With Duncan, Thaci has also talked about commitments to complete the process of transforming the Kosovo Security Force.
