Who is Dick Marty, the man whose report is backed by the Special?

The report published in 2010 by a stranger in the country named Dick Marty would make a big fuss and would raise numerous questions. Even ten years after that, his report became a ghost to politicians mentioned in the report and as seeking to exorcise any crime committed in the past two decades, writes Periscope.

But who is this man?

Dick Marty is Swiss politician of “Liberals” and former state prosecutor in the Ticino canton. He was born on January 7, 1945, and has become known as a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

He keeps a law degree from the University of Neuchatel. He worked at the renowned Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Law in Freiburg, Germany.

As state prosecutor in Ticino, he was known for his vigorous activities in the fight against organised crime and drug abuse. For his achievements in this area, he received the US Justice Department Honorary Award and other awards.

In 1998 he was appointed a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, where he joined the Monitoring Committee.

In 2005, Marty was appointed head of investigations by the Council of Europe for CIA secret prison claims in Europe, which would be illegal. In June 2006, he drafted his report, providing a conclusion showing that fourteen European states had helped commit such abuses. He has then published a second report on the issue supporting past findings.

On December 14th 2010, Marty published a report claiming to dehumanize people and murder of prisoners with the intention of removing and illegal organ trafficking in Kosovo, including Hashim Thaci, then political leader KLA and current president of the country.
