A day after EU high representative Federica Moghrini meets with Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj will also meet Serbia's prime minister, Ana Brnabiq.
Serbian media report that Brnabiq will remain in Brussels on 18 December and 19 December, until it heads the Stabilisation and Association Council meeting between the Republic of Serbia and the European Union.
“During the Stabilisation and Association Council, we will do a mirror on the progress Serbia has made in its membership preparations, and in the Commission's Report on 2018<18x1>, Serbian government officials were quoted as saying.
Haradinaj will also lead the Kosovo team, to the Council for achievements in the SAA implementation process between Kosovo and the EU.
Before this meeting, the EU asked Kosovo to suspend the 100 per cent tax measure for goods from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in return it offered that in CEFTA, Kosovo will be recognised, not as UNMIK, but as Kosovo with banners (Kosovo*).
Hardinaj's cabinet said it comments on the letter in which EU High Representative Federica Moghrini, Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmstrom and Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn was signed but said the government stands behind the declaration given that the move is lifted when Serbia recognises Kosovo.
The discussion is also expected to be the resolution on dialogue and the creation of the military.
