Daciq: Nobody says Kosovo solution will be reached in 2019

Serbia's Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic has said no one can say with certainty that the Kosovo issue will be resolved in 2019. He also stressed that it does not mean that an agreement on Kosovo cannot be reached for the fact that dialogue in Brussels is not continuing, [...]

Similarly, he has stressed that it does not mean that an agreement on Kosovo cannot be reached for the fact that dialogue in Brussels is not continuing, writes Periscopi.

I'm the first to want a solution, but today no one can say that solution can be made in the coming year. Brussels' dialogue has stalled for several months, but this does not mean that a solution -- which has no communication” -- has been told Daciq Vecernje Novosti.

He has said that it is important for Serbia to be fully involved in all tasks and that nothing can be defined without its reconciliation, adding that Belgrade did not have this position “pe or six years earlier”.

If we talk about entering the final phase and what happens in next year, I can certainly say Serbia will say its word about any solution and will fight for its own interests”, Dacic has said.

The head of Serbian diplomacy has added that there has been no demand for changing the format of negotiations between Pristina and Belgrade in Brussels, or the ongoing participants.

He has said Serbia has nothing against the involvement of the United States of America, but that he would like to see other powers involved in the process, such as Russia and China. /Periscopi/
