Czechia backs Kosovo, KSF

Ramadani and gRama, are hosted at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by Deputy Minister for Security and Multigal Affairs Martin Povishel and Deputy Minister and Director of the Department for South and Southeast Europe Martin Kostunica.
During the joint meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Ramadani has informed senior Czech officials of the KSF transition process in military and defence mandates, clarifying the Kosovo Government's objective and regular parliamentary procedures for the process.
The KSF transition process is legitimate, gradual and transparent, and helps strengthen relations on security and defence topics among states in the region. Kosovo aims to turn into regional and global security providers through its active engagement in peacekeeping missions across conflict areas around the world, side by side with NATO's armies of states”, said Mr. Ramadani, underlining Kosovo's national goal for NATO membership.
The KSF's number one, on the other hand, explained the flow of the KSF transition process, starting with development of training and doctrine capacities.
The KSF's “Transition will have three stages of development and will be implemented in line with the long-term, transparent and co-ordinated plan so that the KSF continues to be a multiethnic, professional and model institution in the country and in the region”, Rama has said among other things.
While Deputy Minister for Security and Multilative Affairs Martin Povishel and Deputy Minister and Department for South and South Eastern Europe Director Martin Kostunica have expressed understanding of the Czech Republic's transition process, stressing support for deepening bilateral relations.
The visit to Prague of the KSF delegation is conducted under the information campaign for the transfer of KSF, activity, which began in the spring of 2018, and will continue in other NATO member states.
